Second-year CSE student. A working log of the last year's builds — a command-line banking system, a C++ domain model, a few web projects, two embedded builds, and ongoing DSA practice.

SPEC-001 / JAVA

GDB Banking

Layered command-line banking system

In dev
JavaOOPData structuresCLI

A banking system built with the entity layer kept fully separate from the UI/I-O layer, using ArrayList and HashMap for O(1) account lookups and defensive validation on every input path.

Build log & notes ⌄

How it was built

  • Entity layer separated from UI/I-O layer
  • ArrayList and HashMap used for O(1) account lookups
  • Defensive input validation across all operations
  • Phase 2 planned: CSV persistence + a LangChain/LangGraph agent layer

What I learned

  • Why separating data models from I/O makes a codebase easier to extend
  • Trade-offs between list and hash-map lookups at small vs. large scale
  • How much validation logic a "simple" CLI app actually needs
SPEC-002 / C++

MedChain

Blood-donor matching domain model

HACKATHON
C++OOPEnumsDomain modeling

Models a blood-donor matching workflow through a Person/Donor/Hospital/Location/Request class hierarchy, with a MatchingService that filters donors by compatibility.

Build log & notes ⌄

How it was built

  • Class hierarchy: Person, Donor, Hospital, Location, Request
  • Enums for BloodGroup, DonorStatus, and UrgencyLevel
  • A MatchingService class filters compatible donors against a request
  • Built as coursework for an OOP module

What I learned

  • How to model a real-world workflow as a class hierarchy, not just data
  • Where enums make domain rules explicit instead of implicit
  • Designing a "service" class that operates across multiple entities
SPEC-003 / JS

Arcade Village

Pixel-art overworld linking three mini-games

Shipped
JavaScriptjQueryGame devSprites

Unifies three earlier bootcamp mini-games — Dice, Simon, and Drum Kit — into one explorable pixel-art map with WASD movement and trigger-zone navigation.

Build log & notes ⌄

How it was built

  • Vanilla JS + jQuery, no game framework
  • WASD movement with sprite-sheet animation
  • Trigger zones on the map launch each embedded mini-game
  • Combines three separate bootcamp projects into one navigable world

What I learned

  • Managing game state and animation frames without a framework
  • Structuring trigger-zone collision logic on a 2D grid
  • Turning three disconnected exercises into one cohesive product
SPEC-004 / JS

Signup Dashboard

Validated signup flow + CRUD admin dashboard

Shipped
HTML/CSS/JSSHA-256localStorageCRUD

A signup flow with client-side validation and SHA-256 password hashing, backed by a localStorage dashboard that supports full create/read/update/delete on user records.

Build log & notes ⌄

How it was built

  • Client-side validation on the signup form
  • Passwords hashed with SHA-256 before storage
  • localStorage-backed dashboard with delete support
  • Built for the NSCC SRM technical recruitment task

What I learned

  • Why hashing isn't the same as encryption, and where it fits
  • Structuring a CRUD dashboard on top of browser storage
  • Working under a fixed brief with a hard scope and deadline
SPEC-005 / CSS

The Final Meridian

Bootstrap 5 landing page, fictional Antarctic resort

Shipped
Bootstrap 5CSS GridFlexboxVideo hero

A landing page for a fictional Antarctic resort, combining Bootstrap 5 with custom CSS Grid and Flexbox layouts, a full-screen video hero edited in DaVinci Resolve, and a Bootstrap carousel.

Build log & notes ⌄

How it was built

  • Bootstrap 5 grid extended with custom CSS Grid/Flexbox sections
  • Full-screen video hero, edited in DaVinci Resolve
  • Bootstrap carousel for the amenities section
  • Strongest of four Bootstrap practice builds — the other three exist but weren't featured, since they repeat the same skill

What I learned

  • Where Bootstrap's grid needs custom CSS to do what it can't alone
  • Basic video editing for a functional (not just decorative) hero section
  • Recognizing when a build is "done enough" to feature vs. archive
SPEC-006 / C

Smart Street Light System

Dual-sensor, energy-saving lamp logic

Shipped
Arduino UNOCLDR sensorIR sensor

Combines an LDR light sensor with an IR motion sensor so the lamp only turns on when it's both dark and something is moving — an energy-saving design, not just an on/off automation demo.

Build log & notes ⌄

How it was built

  • Arduino UNO programmed in C
  • LDR sensor detects day vs. night
  • IR sensor detects motion
  • Lamp fires only when both conditions are true simultaneously

What I learned

  • Designing for an energy constraint, not just "does it turn on"
  • Combining two sensor inputs into one reliable trigger condition
  • Debugging analog sensor noise on real hardware

About

I'm a Second-year B.Tech CSE student (IT specialization, Networking & Communications) at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, batch 2024–2028, based in Chennai. Most of what's on this page was built in the last twelve months, outside of coursework hours.

Alongside these projects, I'm also actively participating in hackathons. My current work there sits closer to systems integration than any single language, which is part of why the projects above range from CLI software to embedded C.
